What is the minimum age to do a Freediving course?


Depending if the diver chooses PADI or SSI the requirement and standards may vary for students from 11 to 14, but from 15 years old and on, there is no restrictions for the first courses. For PADI Master or SSI Level 3 minimun age is 18 y.o.




What is the maximum age to do a freediving course?


There is notreally a right answer, as long as you are healthy (dive-related) you are on! Although a medical clearance must be done if you are over 45 years old.




What gear do I need, do I need to have my own?


Although it is better to have your own, we can provide you with all the gear. Just let us know with some anticipation! Mask and Snorkel Wetsuit (5mm) Long fins Rubber weightbelt




Do I need any previous experience?


You only need adequate swimming skills and have no medical conditions related to Freediving. No prior experience with snorkelling, skin diving or freediving is required.




Can I rent gear?


Yes we have all gear: Mask and Snorkel: Can borrow from us, no cost. Wetsuit: We rent 5mm for $15 a day or $25 for both days if paid in advance. Long fins: We rent 5mm for $15 a day or $25 for both days if paid in advance. Rubber weightbelt: Can borrow from us, no cost. Weights: Can borrow from us, no cost.
